The Story

Sometimes the most rewarding properties to sell are those that are inarguably in need of some love – but are packed with potential.

A prime example is 30 Myres Street, Otumoetai. This 1950’s beauty is located on an incredible waterfront spot on a quiet cul-de-sac, walking distance to Pillans Point primary and elevated over the Daisy Hardwick with views out over the inner harbour.

It had been within the same family for decades, and fell to a brother and sister team to sell. We knew we could secure a great result, but encouraged them to receive multiple appraisals – and weren’t surprised when other agencies promised sales prices higher than ours.

Our campaign and our conversations with buyers spoke to the memories that could be made here with your own crew, knowing the emotional pull of this home and its location was strong.


The Success:

We were delighted to see the home sold to a local family that already loved the area but were looking for extra space, and an opportunity to put their own mark on their home. The vendors were able to happily close the chapter on a home that they had all loved.

The home sold for $2.625m in late February of 2022.
